Different Types of Title Sequence

Narrative Title Sequence:
Follows a micro story line or series of events that link to the the rest of the movie, in order to gain the audiences attention.

Discrete Title Sequence:
Doesn't directly link to the rest of the film but hints to which genre it is.

Credits:
This title sequence doesn't include film footage and is a plain background or animation whilst the credits are listed.

Stylised Title Sequence:
Goes straight into the film and later incorporates the credits.
